On another note, due to your great support the first donation to water quality testing has been made via RIVERKEEPER! Why is water quality testing important to anti-fracking efforts? Simply put, fracking waste runoff has become a severe threat to many public water sources. Through diligent water quality testing efforts we can ensure that the detrimental effects of fracking are brought to light and hopefully eventually halt the fracking process entirely.  There have been scares in several towns already (including my parents) and if you are still wondering how fracking and water systems are related just take a gander at Josh Fox’s Gasland.
